The Project Walk Center

Project Walk® Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing an improved quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries through intense exercise-based recovery programs, education, support and encouragement.

Janos Tivadar knows the difficulty of living with a spinal cord injury. While visiting Oregon from his native country of Hungary, he was in a serious car crash which left him with a spinal cord injury. Janos is grateful to the people of Oregon and has set aside part of his settlement to provide scholarships to Project Walk for other people with spinal cord injuries currently living in Willamette Valley. Learn about the case here .

Project Walk Scholarship Fund

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide funds for people with spinal cord injuries to attend the five-day Trial Week at Project Walk. The funds are provided from the settlement received by Janos Tivadar, who suffered a spinal cord injury in 2003, as his way of thanking the people of Oregon for their help.
