Client Testimonials
For those of you who don’t want to read the whole review – Corson & Johnson is the best. Don’t bother looking up any other law firms. My husband and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Corson & Johnson Law Firm to anyone needing legal counsel.
As a result of being hit by a car, I now have a debilitating brain injury, and life may never be the same.
We were referred to Don Corson by a trusted family friend. From our initial meeting, my husband and I were impressed at how sincere, kind and patient Don and his staff were.
Don Corson is genuine, caring, and brilliant. Our case was tricky at best, and he never faltered. Don’t let his super pleasant personality fool you. When needed, Don is a bulldog. He didn’t stop working tirelessly until we received our settlement, which will now provide the long term medical care that I need as well as the day to day care for our children and home that I can no longer do.
He and his staff encouraged us and walked us through every step of the way. They explained the process so that we could easily understand everything that was going on.
Although we mainly dealt with Don, Lara Johnson is excellent also. She is incredibly insightful and bright.
Don Corson and his staff make a positive difference in the world with the work they do. We truly value his help, friendship and counsel.
The Corson and Johnson Law Firm is amazing, My entire time working with them felt like I was with family the whole time and they brought me in with open arms! I still talk to some of the staff. They work hard and fight for you whole heartedly! Let’s just say they do their job very well! My car accident was in 2010 and I was only 16 years old and without their help I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today, I couldn’t thank them enough for everything they did for me through the hardest time of my life. I definitely recommend Corson and Johnson Law Firm!
“When our grandson was badly injured in an ATV accident, sustaining life-long injuries, we went in search of a skilled and ethical attorney to help achieve reasonable financial aid for our grandson’s future, which had been greatly altered. We were referred to Corson & Johnson Law Firm. We first met Don Corson when he came to our home to meet with us and to discover more about our situation. He immediately made us comfortable with his friendly but professional demeanor.
And I couldn’t have been more impressed with his depth of legal knowledge. But more than that, it was clear he cared about our grandson’s well-being. In the many months that followed it became obvious to us that we had the best attorney in the state of Oregon working alongside us. Don was always a professional, but he was more than just an attorney to us. He became a friend. As it turned out, Don Corson did a fabulous job and our grandson will be well taken care of throughout his life. Along with a sense of assurance about our grandson’s future well-being, we also have a life-long friend.
There are no sufficient words to thank Don Corson and his staff for all they did for us and our grandson. We have no hesitation in recommending his services to others. You won’t be sorry.”
“Lara Johnson and her staff were wonderful to work with!!! You can clearly see that she honestly cares about her clients! Her compassion and understanding made a world of difference for my son, who was her actual client, after being hit by a drunk driver. She has a vast knowledge of the types of injuries, both the temporary and permanent, and how they will likely affect the rest of his life. Of course, as with any attorney, this is a job and it is also about making money.
However, she also wanted to make sure he received the largest amount possible due to the fact that even after almost 2 years of various treatments, he has permanent injuries that will greatly affect the rest of his life. Not only did she get him the settlement, they got him a Lump Sum to begin with, as he still needs a lot of dental work done and wanted to get a few things, but set the rest up in an annuity. He was super happy knowing she was looking after future.
Especially since he is a 19 year old kid who could easily blow through a lot of money, and is concerned that people may try to take advantage of him knowing he has a brain injury that greatly affects his memory and decision making. Not only is it very obvious she truly does cares and showed a great deal of compassion, he is actually sad that he won’t need to see her anymore. He said he is going to miss her, and everyone else there at the office.
Unfortunately, under very unfortunate and heartbreaking circumstances, I recommended her to a very close family friend. I know she will do everything she can to help his family, especially under such tragic circumstances, and show every bit of compassion she showed to my son. So, not only have I already, I will recommend her to anyone I know who finds themselves in the need of her services. We were recommended to Lara to begin with, and I would call her immediately should any of us have anything like this every happen to our family. I greatly recommend her to anyone who may find themselves in similar circumstances!!! Without a doubt! 100%!!!!”
” I hired Lara after an auto accident in which I suffered a traumatic brain injury, neck and spine injuries, shoulder and clavicle injury, and a leg being knocked out of alignment. I had been told by one lawyer, with another firm in town, that my case wasn’t worth much…no broken bones, no blood…and not to expect much compensation in the state of Oregon. I then spoke to Lara and asked if she’d be able, with her fee, to get me a higher settlement than if I negotiated with the insurance company on my own. Lara’s answer, “Absolutely!” There was no hesitation; direct, resounding, confident. Much different than the first lawyer I spoke to and I knew “absolutely” that Lara Johnson was who I wanted representing me. Lara further impressed me with how thoroughly she handled my case. Within a week, Lara had sent out rep letters to the hospital ER, physical therapists, massage therapists, doctors and police requesting records relating to the accident. She even went to the scene of the accident to take photographs of the location. Additionally, Lara had me complete a questionnaire, which not only covered my medical history, but my educational and personal accomplishments, as well. She looked at my case from all angles. She was able to represent me because she spent the time to find out who she was representing. Lara responded quickly to my calls and e-mails and updated me monthly on the status of my year-long case. Thankfully, I didn’t represent myself. Lara settled my case for the full amount of the insured’s policy…You really, literally, can’t do any better than that!!!”
“I had an awesome experience with Don Corson in my case, which is an odd thing to say as I would not wish a lawsuit on anyone. I was terribly injured (multiple head and facial fractures) when my seat belt failed to work properly in a medium speed collision. My daughter was 14 months old at the time. Fortunately, a local attorney in St. Helens recommended a Eugene firm in which Don worked. I really enjoyed working with Don. He was aware of the emotional side of head injuries and litigation and helped me feel prepared. He also insulated me from worrying about all the strategic decisions and the ups and downs of litigation. He spoke to me in terms I could understand. I continue to feel support from Don and his firm as if they were my extended family.”

In conjunction with the National Center for Sports Safety (NCSS), we have sponsored training for coaches to help them identify concussions and respond safely.
