The Corson & Johnson Law Firm Donates Life Jackets to Sweet Home Fire District
At The Corson & Johnson Law Firm, we believe that safety is paramount, including when enjoying the beautiful outdoor spaces we’re so fortunate to have here in Oregon. Recently, we were moved by a KEZI news report highlighting a pressing issue faced by the Sweet Home Fire District: a severe shortage of life jackets in their loaner program, which provides free life jackets to those enjoying the many lakes and rivers in the area.
Understanding the critical importance of water safety, we took immediate action. To help replenish the life jacket supply, we proudly donated 25 new high-quality life jackets to the Sweet Home Fire District. Our donation includes 10 life jackets for youth, 10 for children, and 5 for infants.
Water recreation activities are a cherished part of life in Oregon, but they also come with risks. Life jackets are a simple yet vital piece of equipment that can save lives, especially in unexpected situations. We are honored to support the Sweet Home Fire District in its mission to keep the community safe, and are grateful for the work they do every day.
At The Corson & Johnson Law Firm, our commitment to the community goes beyond the courtroom. We are passionate about giving back and making a positive impact in the lives of those around us. We encourage everyone to make safety a priority, whether you’re out on the water, on the road, or anywhere else life takes you.
We’re proud to stand with the Sweet Home Fire District and encourage people to use (and return!) loaner life jackets whenever needed. Let’s all work together to ensure that our rivers and lakes remain a place of joy, not tragedy.

A big “THANK YOU!” to THE CORSON & JOHNSON LAW FIRM for the generous donation of 15 new life jackets. These new child, youth, and infant sized life jackets will ensure that we have the ability to provide protection to our most vulnerable population. We have also been fortunate to receive donations of used life jackets from anonymous citizens, for which we are very grateful.
